Description:It’s
a belt with pure white PTFE product, and a new-type sealing material
produced with a unique processing technology, with good capability in
flexibility, resilience, creep-free, non-aging and self-lubrication. It
is an ideal sealing material for industries of chemical, pharmaceutical,
food, electronic power, metallurgy, shipping and so on.ZD-T1000
expanded
PTFE joint sealant is made from 100% pure PTFE.It has excellent
anti-acid & anti-alkalis.It has well-done tensile strength recovery.
Especially, Expanded PTFE joint sealant is used in sealing of food,
drink,chemical etc. Unneed to make gasket, expanded PTFE joint sealant
can be used easily.
Function:
1. Flange surface
sealing for heat exchanger, reaction cauldron and reaction towers of
stainless steel and titan or metal, as well as enamel lining, glass
lining, plastic lining, rubber lining, and graphite lining.
2. Flange surface
sealing of pipelines and their fittings.
3. Seal surface of
flange, which has less precision machined surface, large uneven area,
irregular shape, inadequate bolt tightening or heavy-calibre equipment
with too large caliber.
4. Sealing for
deep-etching media and liquid cannot be polluted any.
Advantages of
property:
1.
Excellent sealing property. This product has great compressibility, and
it is easy to fill the hole and furrows on the surface to be sealed to
avoid leakage, what’s more, it can rebound and expand when it is
tensioned, so the more pressure in medium, the larger sealing capacity.
2.
Convenient for use. Cut a section of seal strap
with needed length, cross the ends and it can form a seal circle of any
size and shape. The adhesive on one side can fix it on the equipment for
easy installation, then it can seal well with little tightening force
(the least pretightening force is 50Kgf/cm2).
3.
Durable in use. PTFE has good corrosion and
weathering resistance. And after special treatment, Green Leaf has
better creep resistance, and it can be safely used for a long period in
a wide range of temperature.
4.
Clean. As the PTFE is a kind of white product,
and it has good corrosion and weathering resistance, it will not drop
and pollute the contacted liquid.
5.
Economical. Other shaped seal gaskets have high
cost as they should be cut, chopped, and sprinted, which will cost more
material and time; the Green Leaf PTFE seal strap can form a gasket of
certain specification as long as you cross connect the both ends of it,
without any waste, it can meet your daily requirement by several kinds
of seal strap, therefore it saves the cost for storing shaped gaskets of
all specifications. Meanwhile, it reduces the requirements for the
machine precision of surface to be sealed, and it enable some corroded,
eroded, and damaged fittings and equipment to be reused, prolonging
their service life and reducing the repair.
Use method:
clean and dry the surface to be sealed, choose PTFE seal
strap with suitable width and thickness, then remove its protection
paper, stick it to the outer fringe of the surface, fold the connections
at the crossing of one bolt, leaving 2CM to the crossing (note: usually
2～3CM, use it on face-flange, the connections of both ends must across
fold, if it is used on recessing flange, the connections can be fold
parallel, more than 2CM). then fold the flange surface, fasten each
bolt, the crossing will be pressed to the same thickness of other part,
and there will be no leakage at the crossing.
